Typographic Composition

This project explores composition through the abstraction of letterforms. Using characters from the Clarendon typeface, I created a series of experimental compositions by cropping, rotating, and combining individual letterforms to discover dynamic visual compositions. After developing and refining dozens of concepts, I selected the strongest eight and arranged them into a unified final composition.
